The low level of genetic variation across populations surprised many in the scientific community. Scientists believe the reason for this low level of variation is because the entire world population of 6.5 billion is descended from a small group of people, probably numbering no more than 2,000, who lived in Africa 70,000 years ago.[7][8] From this small group, an even smaller group left Africa by crossing the Red Sea and proceeded to populate the rest of the world. The differences in physical appearance between the various peoples of the world is as a result of adaptations to the different environments that the early pioneers who left Africa made in order to conquer the new lands to which they traveled.

Which basically means everyone was originally one race and natural selection due to climate, and other such factors changed skin/eye color and hair color/texture over time.

How can you hate someone for being a certain race, when no one has control over what race they become?

For example it hurts me when people discriminate against blacks. I mean I'm 15 and I'm going to college in August. Don't I deserve to not have to deal with that sort of ignorant behavior = /?

I'm not racist but I don't believe what most scientists say about evolution or how people have evolved and from where. ...
scientists began the Darwin theory and that has since been disproved.
They go around making theories and let people believing them for years and years then change their minds on it.
Why not pick up the oldest book in times and it will tell you where we started and from who... Yes in fact we all came from a small group... smaller than 2,000.
Try 2 people named Adam and Eve. And if you really want to break it down we came from one.. Adam who gave a rib so that we could have Eve.
This all started in the Garden Of Eden.
There is no written word on what they looked like. They could have been rainbow colored for all we know - we just know Adam was made in God's likeness.
Maybe God is Green.
If people want to act snobby or whatever then just ignore them- why would you seek their approval anyway?
You're there to study, just learn as much as you can and enjoy it all.

It's funny how humans can actually believe rumours and lies more readily than the truth...Why?? B'coz the truth is sometimes not pleasant and hard to swallow. They rather believe in an untruth than to look inside themselves and examine to find the root cause of what's happening in their life. I guess some individuals would like to believe that they are far more superior than others, thus racism and indiscrimination comes about. I'm sorry to say that as long as humans don't look within themselves, this will continue to be a vicious cycle of needless despair and turmoil.....

There is also a low level of genetic variation between me and a Chimpanzee - we share close to 99% of our DNA. Just food for thought.

Racists don't care what anyone has to say about it because it is easier to make fun of someone than to accept them as how they are. Plus they are stereotypical. Like they thing all blacks are gangstas that are gonna rob you, and that all mexicans are illegal immigrants that came to steal our jobs. Sucks don't it. Making America a worse place to live I say. They just make it worse for everyone. Don't piss off people you don't know. You don't know what they are capable of.

Naaa, I believe we were bred by aliens and deliberately colored differently the way game tokens are colored differently. Then placed her in order to fight while the aliens watch and gamble.
Haven't you ever put red ants and black ants together when you were a kid? It's similar.
I personally am not a racist, I detest all human beings equally.

we have our own belief about our origin......racist people normally don't see themselves because they are busy watching [judging] others...they never know they have a ''muddy face''coz they kept on minding what's wrong about the the others...i always get hurt when they judged us[philippines]being in the 3rd world country......i am proud to say that yes we are poor country but we have a lot of foods to offer for our visitors and we don't expect anything in return...''hospitality amen''

I actually saw this on National Geographic. But racists and bigots won't believe a word of it. So it's like talking to a brick wall, it's just a waste of time and energy and it's just plain dumb! But thanks for posting this!
