You give the questioner as much as you can handle because i beleive that there is always a story to tell and mostly lessons to be taught if you hurt

Not that the reality of the topic hurts me. It's just those few questions where the person's like "I hate my life" and "I want to kill myself" or "Nobody loves me" so I feel guilty about giving them a stupid answer because they're trying to reach out to somebody.

Definitely and sometimes they hurt so much I cry, I answer anyway and then regret it later cos the problem is mine and I've no right to stop other people making jokes about something that has personally affected me.
I'm trying to rebuild my life, I don't need to come across things that remind me of my sorrow when I am just starting to live again.

yeah...especially questions about cancer and death. sensitive topics for me. depending on my mood, i'll answer the questions, but usually, i'll just read through it, read some answers and move along to something else.
