I would like you to donate to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation(JDRF.)
Juvenile Diabetes is usually found in people under the age of 40 and these people need to use insulin, whereas Type 2 or adult onset diabetes is often treated by diet and/or oral medication for a number of years after being diagnosed. These people may never need to take insulin.
People with Juvenile diabetes are most often diagnosed while they are children, some are still infants.
My 17 year old son was diagnosed at age 3 1/2. His half-sister was diagnosed at age 6. She died several years ago at the age of 34 from the complications of diabetes. I think that we should be able to come up with a cure if enough funds are provided for research. JDRF provides the research money to the country where the donations originate. There have been many interesting discoveries of late which bring even more hope to those who have juvenile diabetes.
I am sure that whatever charity you donate to the funds will likely be put to good use. The Cancer society and Multiple Sclerosis have already been mentioned and both are extremely good causes.
Thank you for your kind generosity. You will be rewarded.
Take care.

Personally, I'd give to the Woodland trust:

Or any charity for Animal welfare, the third world, or maybe even domestic violence...whatever you feel strongly about. Go for it and good on you!
