I feel as if they need to realize how idiotic they are and stop being red necks, thats my personal preference but i do think a lot of people would agree.

Rednecks bother me. I live in texas, and we have all sorts of people, but rednecks are their own particular breed. A country boy is ok, but a redneck is just trashy. It's ok if you were raised on a farm, that just gives you a good work ethic and probably makes you say yes maam and no maam. Rednecks spit tobacco and take pride in things like the rebel flag or how much beer they can drink at a time

Rednecks are the simple people with simple pleasures. They are happy with a BBQ and a couple of good friends. They could care less what you wear or what you drive. They could care less where you live. They like you because of who you are not because what you are. They are actually some of most friendly people on earth.

I don't like that term, but I guess I would have to say that I like them! Being from the south, I'm used to people saying that all the time, but I don't like when it's used in a derogatory way. All the people I know who you might consider 'rednecks' are very amiable, hardworking, blue-collar people. So, in that respect, I would have to say that I like them!

Don't get me started.....
I live in southern Louisiana, so I'm exposed to plenty of them. The "redneck" stereotype seems to be the most accurate stereotype around.

Emmm, in general, if I am going to stereotype them, i feel as though they are simple-minded and racist.. But on an individual level, I have met a couple that are pretty funny and good folks.
