the fact that the reporter, about 35 years old became pregnant is surprising to me. his wife has filed for divorce. what is you take on the mayors behavior. was he irresponsible? did he send the wrong message to young men and women?

the state of california has spent hundreds of millions of dollars on education programs to stop teen pregnancy.

do you believe teens will be influenced by the mayors behavior?

well he really messed up especially since he is a public figure, he is very hypocritical and i hope teens will look at him and choose not to make a mess of their life like that, and hopefully look to their parents for their influence.

Of course he was irresponsible. He's a public figure. I hope he doesn't have plans to move up any further than mayor, he can forget it. People don't forget this kind of thing...especially an affair that led to pregnancy outside of marriage.

I don't think teens will be affected by his behavior...after all, lots of celebrities divorce, have affairs, and have children out of wedlock everyday. But, I do think he may have lost some of their parents' votes.

Personally, I don't care what he does. I didn't vote for him the last time and probably wouldn't in the future.
