the actual internet. that's about it. every other feature is on your current cell phone. having too many features is NOT a good idea. just go buy individual items. less hassling and will work better.

How much Internet does one need? I can't understand about being connected all the time. Most of the time I don't even pickup the phone when it rings and keep my cell powered off. The other day at work, I could hear a guy in the next stall, taking a dump and on the phone. Heck,, I say.. let me sh#t in peace! I have a Blackberry I don't even use.. I think it is in my bag!

And texting... give me break... just call! Don't you have enough music and things to look at besides a small toy!

And BTW, I am rich, richer than most you... my income takes me in the top 2% of the US. I am more tech savvy than most of you.. I am an electrical engineer and work with the fastest optical networks you people will see in another 10-12 years. I work with servers worth over $1.5 million apiece. My house is wired with everything on an optical Gigabit network which supports HDTV, digital music, digital CCTV cameras and all my computers. I have multiple connections to the Internet from home for redundancy and load sharing. I still wouldn't buy an iPhone! I am happy with an older Motorola v60 that lasts me 4-5 days before I recharge.

It's fancy, thin, super high tech, plays youtube and videos, has a large and attractive screen, is an iPod music player, and it does the internet and basically a lot of things a computer does! Plus people are in love with Apple for some reason and adore their products even though most are WAY over priced.
Unfortunately, the iPhone is very expensive so I won't be getting one any time soon. Plus I'm happy with my Moto Q :)

Apple iPhone combines three amazing products — a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching — into one small and lightweight handheld device.

I have no clue. I would never spend more than $100 on a cell phone. But then again I don't live on mine like some people.

Nothing really. It's just a computer (have it already) a phone (have it) and an iPod (have it) rolled into one. So what? Just use them seperatly
