I agree with gatorade, The manner in which you asked the question shows that you have limited knowledge in this subject no offense, but it is a lot more complicated than the clown says it is. You need a serious set of tools. including jacks, lifts, torque wrentches and probably an air compressor. It's best to let a professional repair, but it is not imposible, will just take time, don't forget safety. If you really are up to it, get a nissan manual and follow all steps to the letter. Good luck don't forget to get the flywheel resurfaced at a machine shop, and keep the engine supported.

Lol. Replacing the clutch is a tedious job which requires dropping the engine while keeping the car stable, keeping track of the parts and many more... It is even more difficult with a larger vehicle. I would take it to a mechanic who has the proper tools and equipment for this. It is simple but consumes a lot of time, but at least since you bought the clutch, you will only be paying for the labor.

torres:
This is like, if you have to ask, you can't do it. And if your truck is a 4x4 it is much harder.

For example, to lower and raise the transmission, there is a special tool called a transmission jack. This rotates the tranny left and right and front and back, which is required to line it up with the bell housing.

I have watched this job being done in my dad's shop, and it takes two strong men to install tranny (one could do it, but two is much easier).

Also, the flywheel should be refinished, the seal around the crankshaft replaced if leaking any oil.

Not a job for beginners. Take your parts to a mechanic who you trust.

The first thing you need to do is put the truck on jacks and get it off the ground. Then you need to remove the drive shaft. You'll then need to unbolt the transmission from the bell housing. Slowly lower the transmission out, pulling the stick shift out also.

You'll need to unbolt the old clutch plates and put the new one in as instructed. Don't forget to put in a new throwout bearing.

Bolt it all back up in reverse order.

Spend $25.00 on a repair manual.

It'll be the best investment you could make if you're going to do ANY work yourself.

Chiltons or Haynes are both good books.
