Taking the fam to the inlaws early for a cookout with crabs (A Maryland Must Have), then to my mom's house for 2nd cookout and illegal fireworks.

As corny as it sounds I start every 4th with reading the Declaration of Independence to remind me of what today is really about. Then I am planning on going fishin alone by the river and finally a late picnic and fireworks with my family.

Happy 4th back to you. My husband and I are going to a cook out at his co workers. Sounds like a lot of fun with food, friends, and fireworks!!!

BBQ ribs, chicken stew,possibly go listen to a few bands at the local park [Zapp and Jackyl] are the 2 I would like to see. and watch the fireworks from my parents house.

i plan on getting some food for a b-b q and having friends over, we'll probably have some alcoholic beverages and then we'll go down to the canal and white river gardens downtown in my home city (indianapolis) and watching the fireworks go off. its a tradition for me to watch the pretty fireworks show every year!!!
