Well, other than dying out completely, we could cut back on non-renewable energy sources such as oil, come up with more and more renewable, such as more efficient wind turbines, water turbines, solar...etc.

We could completely halt all forms of production that cause pollution.

We could stop companies such as Coke and others from robbing our rivers and lakes of precious water to make bottled water for all those people out there who are too good to get it from the tap.

We could go back to the dark ages and live like they did, because, as you know, they didn't pollute the air nearly as much as we do, nor did they release greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of ways we can stop and even reverse the damage we're doing/have done, but think about it, are any of us really willing to make the sacrafices?

I like my computer, and the nasty battery that one day will be burried somewhere polluting the ground.

I honestly think most people think that, hey, when we die, that's it, who gives a crap what happens later on.

Shame really, but so are many things in life, eh?

We ARE destroying the planet. Humans are a virus on this earth. Every time we turn on a light or throw away a soup can, we are contributing to the slow death of our planet. The only thing individuals can do is be aware all the time of our actions and always keep in mind "every little bit helps" when it comes to reducing, reusing and recycling.

Yes!
1. Live green
2. Colonize other planets
3. Over time, decrease our birth rate so the number of people on earth will be be much smaller and be sustainable through using renewable resources.

Yes it is. We need to find a way to have zero population growth. We must stop all this wanton and gratuitous reproduction. Important plants and animals will be pushed to extinction. Pollution will get worse. Fuel and food prices will go sky high. We want high quality of life, not vast quantity of people.

Well,
I water the garden
I don't go around chopping trees.
I turn off the lights/electricity when not in use.
I use aircon only when it's sleeping time.
I don't waste food.
I don't litter everywhere
I throw cans/plastics to recycle bins.

Hmm..I think I did my part to save the planet.
