Wow, these "speed of light" questions come up a lot.
According to our current understanding (over the last 100 years):
1) You can't travel faster than the speed of light.
2) If you traveled ALMOST at the speed of light, you wouldn't notice a bit of difference. Light from behind you would still approach you at the speed of light, and would cast the shadow ahead of you at the speed of light.
The light around you NEVER appears to slow down, no matter how fast you are going!
These are both results from the theory of relativity.

imagine that you are in a car while it is raining
you are travelling faster than the rain
the rain is a model of light waves
do you stop some of the rain drops from hitting the ground?
as some of the rain will not hit the ground, some of the light waves will also not hit the ground therefore creating a shadow
another thing to think about is the effects of the speed on the size and shape of your shadow
use the same model
I have personaly observed that when you are moving you block about the same amount of water as if you are still if the water in falling in equal amounts over the area tested
the light waves should act the same as the water if they are uniform, therefore the shadow would not be distorted but would simply move faster

Hypothetically speaking, it would depend on which direction your are traveling. If you were moving towards the light source you would cast a shadow but if you were traveling away, you would not because the light would not be able to catch up with you to hit you and then cast a shadow.

Yes you would cast a shadow, how ever if you were moving the direction the light was going you shadow would be behind you instead of ahead becuase the light you block would be moving slower then you. And if you were moving ageinst it the same basic laws would consist.

You cannot travel faster than, or even as fast as, the speed of light, so there is no answer.

i believe that you won't cast a shadow cause you are traveling faster than the light that will reflect your shadow.

u cant run fasterthan speed of light due the restriction that relativity puts but for a hypothetical assumption no, since light cant travel as fast as u, it can not detect u !! wow good sci fi eeh?!!

Yes, but you wouldn't see it as it would have already happened..theoretically that is. Of course you would have to get past the whole infinite speed vs. infinite mass thing to get there...
