The island accents are their own accents. English is their native language, they are not attempting to speak English coming from another native language And what you said about tree being a plant and not a number, well, isn't "bear" an animal or is it a verb meaning to endure something? Is "punch" a form of attack or a drink? Is "duck" a bird or a reaction to "SOMEONE HAZ A GUN!!!1!11!!!!!" And you are not an idiot or a racist for disliking other people's accents. Many people dislike Southern US accents or the sound of certain languages, they are not racist, everyone is entitles to their own linguistic tastes

Scottish. For some reason, it's just an annoying accent to me. And you can't really understand what they're saying at all. I guess that's kinda annoying.

some indians (from india) talking english, which is still not bad as compared to some people who dont even know how to pronounce the word and it sounds all gibberish.. like this french guy i know , this lebanese woman at the airport
