Which card is better the VisionTek Radeon X1550 256MB PCI or the VisionTek Radeon X1300 256MB PCI? Or is there an even better card out there for standard pci (not nvidia)? Also is the X1550 GDDR2? (((Just to clarify this is not for PCI Express)))

the Radeon X1550 is better than the X1300. It will replace it as the X1300 series will be discontinued soon. And the visiontek version of the X1550 will run DDR2 memory.

Of the ones you listed, X1550 GDDR2 is the best and most likely most expensive of them.

You are just wasting your money on expensive PCI cards. The SLOW PCI bus will just bottleneck any good PCI card and NEVER give awesome improvement. Awesome gaming performance can only be realized through an upgrade to 8x AGP or to PCI express.
