I don't know if this is a strange question or not, but I am 22 years old, and still in the in-between stage in life. So the other day, I was thinking about my life, and how much has occurred in the last few years that has really affected my maturity. I was thinking to myself about how much I enjoy "feeling like an adult". I love the responsibility of it, the stages and changes. So I am wondering, in regards to the age that you currently are... whether you prefer to feel like an adult, or feel like a kid.

I guess I should point out that I have two children, just bought a house and a minivan... so I am a bit ahead of my age. I got married when I was 16. But I have always enjoyed being an adult, I like all of the responsibility, it makes me proud of myself that I can do it all.

I am an adult so I can't be one again, unless I die and come back to life.I would be a kid again under one condition. If I could have knowledge of the things I have learned becoming an adult. That way I wouldn't make the same mistakes I did growing into an adult. If I could rewind my life and go back and change things due to my past experiences I would have a perfect life because I would adjust my mistakes to the best possible outcome.

I'm turning 22 soon. When I was a kid, I always couldn't wait to be a grown up, as I wanted to do what I can't as a kid, like driving the car, going shopping on my own, it just seems like being a grown up is so interesting and wonderful.

Now that I'm a grown up, it's not what it's all crack up to be. There are so many resposibilities, so many expectation to live up to, people keep letting me down. Gone are the days of having unconditional friendship. The magical world I use to know as a kid turns out to be a ugly place with cynical people, where i have to watch my back all the time.

The best part of my life is growing up, not being grown up. At least, that's how it felt like right now for me.

I think if everyone is honest, we would all love to be kids again. It was fun. Getting to play with friends, toys, games. No responsibility. Oblivious to what really is happening in the world. It was a simple life. I know a lot of the time was spent in school but I really liked my classmates.
This really makes me want to have a house instead of an apartment, so I can have a sandbox and a pool. I really had fun in them during the summer.

I want to feel like a kid again. I don't like all this responsibility and all that is expected of me in adulthood. It's scary.
