That's a kinda easy and not very mature behavior to blame someone else when he was the one who insulted T.R Knight!
I think he's so angry of being fired of such a popular show that he tries as hard as he can to come back, whatever it takes!
He's just an homophobe. He so deserves what happened to him. P.Dempsey doesn't torture him to make him say what he said, no one forced him, he's a grown-up, when he says something, he has to deal with the consequences!
Actually, he's blaming the situation on T.R Knight: he said that the actor took advantage of what Washington said about him to get a raise and more importance for his character in the show...

I'm sure that P. Dempsey is pretty much a jerk because that's what happens when a show becomes wildly popular wildly fast. These people get big heads and it's almost impossible to work with them. None of this excuses Isaiah's behavior. He's a grown man and should know how to conduct himself appropriately.
