My family was in the military and I lived all over the world when I was a kid, great experience! I was literally left in Arlington, VA when I was 17 years old , married with a newborn. We went on to have 4 children and didn't divorce until all the children were grown. We just grew in different directions. I continued to live in Northern VA, worked as a Vet Tech for years, diagnosed with RA, had problems with my hands, sold my home for almost 3 x's what I paid for it, moved to Florence, SC and love it!! I have a single family home all on one floor with two guest bedrooms and I am right on rt. 95, 60 miles from Myrtle Beach.
I love it here! I have been very lucky!

I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but didn't stay there long, as my parents and family moved around a *LOT* as I grew up.
--I've lived in parts of Southeast Missouri (the bootheel area, and it's really dirt-poor destitute there in much of it),
--I've lived in Colorado,
--I've lived in Alabama,
--I've lived in Arizona,
--I've lived in California, down around Blythe, due south of Needles, out in the high desert near to Mexico,
--and more recently I've lived in Illinois.
I currently live in Champaign in Illinois because that is where I moved to as an adult to get my Bachelor's degree at the University there. In general I have now been in Illinois slightly longer than I've been in St. Louis, and *way* longer than I've been anywhere else.
