At times, a question such as this will elicit dozens and dozens of elaborate schemes to spare a householder an unwanted conversation with Jehovah's Witness door-to-door ministers.
All such schemes are a complete and utter waste of time!
Many of your neighbors have figured it out, and it's really quite simple:
1. Open the door
2. Smile (optional)
3. Ask "Jehovah's Witness?"
4. Receive affirmation
5. Say, "Thank you, but I'm not interested"
6. Gently close the door (slamming is rude, but your prerogative)
Please recognize that Jehovah's Witnesses are not primarily interested in converts, but in working to obey Jesus' command to preach (Matt 24:14; Matt 28:19,20).

^They no longer bother me, I told them I was a Pagan and to go away, they mumbled something and never came back, that was about twenty years ago.
Don't get me wrong I have nothing against the Jehovah Witnesses or any other religion for that matter, I just don't like people who tell me their way is the only way.
I've been told because I'm not Christen I'm not going to heaven. Well if there is a heaven and a hell, I think I will be above looking at them below, because they believe they are better than me, or anyone else and that's not Christen and that's not a very Christen thing to say. Ironic isn't it.

Jehovah's Witnesses - Who are they? An exerpt from their website: WHEN Jesus was on earth, his disciples came to him and asked: "What will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?" He replied that there would be wars involving many nations, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, an increasing of lawlessness, false religious teachers misleading many, a hatred and persecution of his true followers, and a cooling off of the love of righteousness in many people. When these things would start to happen, it would indicate that Christ was invisibly present and that the heavenly Kingdom was at hand. This would be news—good news! So Jesus added these words as a part of the sign: "This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come."—Matthew 24:3-14. CHRISTIANS are commanded to "make disciples of people of all the nations," but this does not mean that they are to use pressure or convert others by force. Jesus' commission was to "tell good news to the meek ones," to "bind up the brokenhearted," to "comfort all the mourning ones." (Matthew 28:19; Isaiah 61:1, 2; Luke 4:18, 19) Jehovah's Witnesses seek to do this by declaring the good news from the Bible. Like the prophet Ezekiel of old, Jehovah's Witnesses today try to find those who "are sighing and groaning over all the detestable things that are being done."—Ezekiel 9:4. The best-known way they use to find those who are distressed by present conditions is by going from house to house. Thus they make a positive effort to reach the public, just as Jesus did when "he went journeying from city to city and from village to village, preaching and declaring the good news of the kingdom of God." His early disciples did likewise. (Luke 8:1; 9:1-6; 10:1-9) Today, where it is possible, Jehovah's Witnesses endeavor to call at each home several times a year, seeking to converse with the householder for a few minutes on some local or world topic of interest or concern. A scripture or two may be offered for consideration, and if the householder shows interest, the Witness may arrange to call back at a convenient time for further discussion. Bibles and literature explaining the Bible are made available, and if the householder desires, a home Bible study is conducted free of charge. Millions of these helpful Bible studies are conducted regularly with individuals and families throughout the world.

i don't even answer, but omg, my brothers' friend said that if you ever wanna keep jehova witnesses away from your house answer the door naked with spiritual music in the background, and holding a dead chicken or a turkey. the plan is to make it look like you're sacraficing a turkey/chicken as part as your religion. it's purty funny. it works by the way. he did it.

I proceed kindly. Rudeness is a weak man's imitation of strength. I would ask if they would like to come in for a drink and discuss in full their cause. I would listen attentively. When they finished I would thank them for the info and show them to the door with a cheery farewell.

Last time I completely dodged them, I saw them going to my door as I was driving home. I went around the block and came back later.
If however, I do come face to face with them I tell them about my Christian faith.
