Hell to the yes, but I would like to retain the person I am and the experiences I have gone through. Because I would find something to do to improve the lives of others, I would only shop for stuff I needed, I would ditch all but maybe 1 or 2 cars. If I could keep my wisdom, intelligence and integrity, yes.

If I turned into a spoiled, mush-brained bimbo, then hell to the no.

Personally I am not all that fond of California. It is VERY EXPENSIVE, has lots of fires, and lots of earthquakes. as well as land slides!!!!
If I had an unlimited trust fund, I would buy about 4 or 500 acres and put several horses, cows, as well as other livestock and lots of German Shepherds. I personally prefer lots of land, not many people around me, not much noise or pollution and privacy.
BY THE WAY - I HATE AND DETEST SHOPPING!!!!!! I also could care less about designer labels. Like I told my daughter a long time ago and I still feel this way - The clothes are way over priced. When she wanted designer label pants - I told her that all she was doing was advertising someones name on her as# ( behind)!!!!!!! I still feel that way!!!!!
Like they say - to each his own.

That sounds good to me. Sounds like you are the backbone of this nation working ten times harder than everyone else and not getting the recognition or thanks you deserve. Don't be depressed because all your hard work will pay off. If you really are still depressed rent the movie "Just Visiting" after work because you will laugh hysterically and not be depressed anymore. Also "Johnny English" was hysterical.

No, I couldn't. I feel that for the more intellectually sound among us, nothing ever qualifies one to be happy. I, for example, am ever seeking (or hoping to discover) the next plateau of experience. A life like the one you described sounds more like stagnation than a life worth living.
