I have no party affiliation, so I vote for the candidate who's beliefs most closely match mine. However, lately it has felt like I have had to choose between the lesser of two evils, so to speak.

I'm not affiliated with a party. I vote the candidate who gives me the most hope that he's not going to steer this country into ruins. Unfortunately that tends to always be a third party candidate which means I'm never on the side of the winners.

I have voted for Republicans in the primary for the least corporate candidate because I know the Dem did not stand a chance in my local area but you will probably never see me vote Republican at the state or national level because the Dem`s although no backbone sometimes seem to represent the people`s will better even if themselves don`t believe in the issues. That is a politicians job to bring the will of the people to Washington.

I used to vote for the candidate who had the fewest connections to Washington career politics.
Now I'll always vote against Republicans until the party purges itself of every politician that stood by and supported this administration.

I only vote for who I believe will be best for our country. I don't vote by political party because when it comes right down to it both side have corrupt politicians, and why on earth would anyone vote for someone dishonest just because they belong to a certain group. Seems kind of closed minded.

I am a registered republican but I vote as an independent. I do not vote by the party line but vote for the individual that I think is best suited for the position.

I would expect millions of democrats to vote outside their party this year because Ron Paul is running. Regardless of affiliation, how can you not like someone that has:
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

I'm Independent and have no affiliation.
I vote for the candidate based on character and platform. Of late, character has been sorely lacking and I have written in candidates. I wanted Colin Powell.

For the foreseeable future I will never vote for a democrat. I disagree damn near 100% with their liberal/socialist politics! Nor have I ever voted for a democrat, if anything I'd vote for an independant as opposed to voting republican.
In the past I have always voted Republican.
