because believe or not.. straight people keep getting knocked up and putting kids up for adoption. Someone needs to take them... and apparently it isn't "heterosexual" considering they just keep poppin em out.

Adoption is for adults who aren't procreating who want to be parents. People usually want to be parents because they feel like they have something to pass on to a new generation and to give a good life to a kid who may not have the same advantages if they weren't in that home.
Your question kind of invites a question in return, why do infertile couples adopt kids if they know THEY can't have any in the first place? And you get the same answer.
Some folks want children and the mating process isn't helping toward that end. Since we know sex isn't all about producing children, but is the only way to conceive, well, then it stands to reason that homosexuals are having sex for other reasons than baby making and they go about bringing babies into their lives in another way.
I would much rather see a child growing up in a stable happy home with gay parents than an abusive one with straight parents. What's wrong with this picture is the hassle of kids being raised by gay parents which is totally the responsibility of outside that home who can't see fit to mind their own business. What would happen in this world if people only made decisions that they knew would be okay with others?

I reproduced. Homosexuals can reproduce. So it isn't true that "they can't have any in the first place." "They" don't find partnering with heterosexuals self-fulfilling in spite of whatever biblical injunctions you may care to quote.
Are you suggesting that straight couples that can't have kids shouldn't be allowed to adopt any? - because that's the criterion you're using. Likewise, are you suggesting that infertile straight couples should divorce so they might be able to find a partner who can reproduce.
There are a lot of kids in the world who are lucky to find any kind of a loving parent, so why take that opportunity away from them. My dad died when I was four. If having two parents in the home is so great, I suppose my mother should have been forced to marry against her wishes to satisfy social demands, eh? There is no perfect family.

Studies in Holland show kids of gay parents do not show any difference whatsoever then kids brought up with straight parents.
One of the findings is even they grew up more stable. This can be due to the fact that IF people decide to adopt, they have thought for years about their abilility to do so (in the contrary to very many straight people just having children) and if GAY people do so, the very strong desire to overcome all obstacles even show a stronger base.
Where I live very many people around me neglect their children, break up, spread their children over 3 different relations, and so on.
I think adoption by gays is extremely good for society.

Why do straight couples who can't conceive children have invetro fertilization procedures? Because they want to be parents....duh. As far as adoption goes, is a child better off in an orphanage or the wonderful foster care system, or with 2 people who will love and nurture them for life? I'd pick the gay couple if I were the child...

The fact that a child didn't come from your loins doesn't make the child less valuable. Adoption is the true mark of an unselfish person.
Who cares if they're queer or "normal," as long as they're good parents? Hopefully they would raise their kids to be less shallow than you clearly are.

Many homosexual adults, just like heterosexual, bisexual, etc. adults, want to feel the miracle of having a child in their life. Children are special and it's normal for adults to eventually want to raise one of their own. Of course having a straight dad would probably be easier, but even then there could be divorce, abuse, all sorts of problems, too.
Besides, isn't it better these children have a loving home rather than being raised, unwanted, in an orphanage?

Why can't gay people have kids? Being gay is not the same thing as being infertile; I know a few gay people who are biological parents. As for adoption, it's a wonderful option and gives homes to children who may not otherwise have one.

you answered your own question hunny. They adopt kids because they can't have there own. Or becuase they know that there are millions of kids out there without families. Queer family / No family.
YOU pick.
Also if you havn't noticed, gay/lesbian couples can have kids, it's called a surrogate mother or a sperm donner.
