just curious i asked a question similar already but im still kinda confused some people tell me im white some tell me im hispanic

well having some portugues background i can tell you that they are not hispanic. They don't speak spanish so they don't have roots in Spain. Now they speak portuguese which comes from Latin which would make them latinos. They are in Europe so their correct term is European and the majority are mainly white.

Okay maybe i can help you out. People who are Portuguese are White. Hispanic is not a race,it's an ethnicity. Anyone can be Hispanic. Hispanic simply means Spanish speaking. Most Portugese people aren't Hispanic because they don't speak Spanish, they speak Portuguese so therefore they wouldn't be Hispanic.

Portuguese people and people of Portuguese descent are Lusitanic. Only those of Spanish descent are Hispanic. And neither term is race specific. One can be of Spanish or Portuguese descent and still be of any race or any combination of races. See site below for more information and history.

"Hispanics" and "Latinos" are "White" ! Unless you might have Any Amerind or Arab or African ancestry you are "white" and "hispanic"! As for you tanning greater than your brothers if a few fo your ancestors got here from the south of portugal or spain there might be a few arab or african genes! You must come to a decision for your self! Just take into account so much Europeans and "whites" are honestly brown or "tan" until you are an albino!
