The last time I did it, it took two hours to get to Jupiter, then another hour to go through customs there, then 30 minutes on a local shuttle to get to Europa, then 5 (!) hours to get fishing license (too much paperwork.)
Then I fell through the ice and lost my new fishing hat.
It was not a great experience. I'd rather go scuba diving on Mercury, at least the seas are very worm there. Want to go with me?

Count me in!!! I've been fly, spin-cast and even old willow stick and line but never ice-fishing. Too weird, considering I've spent a vast majority of my life where ice-fishing was the norm. I'm such a loser. But can ya give me an extra 10 minutes so I can heat up the milk for the hot chocolate? Oh ... and I'll have to find my ice auger. Oh ... crap. It's all seized up. I'll be there ... just give me another ten.

abso freaking lutely. and liz ill grab the bait. and a beer or two. europa is cold this time of year we will need to bring an ice fishing hut and heater to stay warm. we going to catch and release or eat what we catch?
