I don't know where you're from, but in the USA it's not that common. I know that in some other countries, European countries in particular, fairies are widely considered real. Yes, even now. I read one of Brian Froud's books on fairies once, and although it's written as fiction, I am pretty certain he actually believes in them. What is interesting is that about 100 years ago, when cameras were still new and trick photos were unknown, someone made a trick photo of fairies. Many people thought that they were real because of this but then the pictures were found to be false. For a while, there was a lot of belief about them.

I don't know if there really are any but I call the humming bird a fairy, it flaps it's wings sooooooo fast just like fairies in movies

No. Because they're a physical very, very unlikely. Humanoid forms, complete with minature organs, is not sustainable for such a small size. It's how you can't have giant bugs; an exoskeleton that large would just crush the insect under its own weight.

I have always believed in the existance of fairies. Although I haven't seen them.
I was pleasantly surprised one Sunday, when the Pastor of our Church informed our Adult Sunday School Class that he knew for a fact that they exist! He had really seen them!

Yes. My cousin went to a wedding that the couple believed in faeries and they mentioned many times how they were pleased to be in the presence of faeries. Also this web has lots of links on how to contact them. I actually think that some people substitute faeries for angels. I myself don't believe in them but there are many relgions that include faeries or strange refrences to them.
