I'm 15, and I've almost done it before. I live in Melbourne. Any advice on where to go etc?

Hey Jenny ... I don't think groomers would use this site, too public, but you're right to warn the kid anyway and I echo everything else you say as well. Who wants to sleep rough in this weather? The reality will be far, far worse than you imagine. As the Fonz used to say "Sit on it!"

Um Zing .. unless there's abuse in your home .. DON'T run away ..AND if there's abuse, go to the authorities and get the person/people punished.

why do you want to run away ? PARTICULARILY NOW in the middle of a wet cold winter?
If it's because you don't like being told what to do .. TOLERATE IT because you only have a few years to go before you can leave home and perhaps rent a place with a bunch of friends ..
Does (do) your parent(s) provide you with your food, clothing shelter ? ALSO do they pay for your internet access ... if you run away how do you expect to have the internet

ALSO be VERY WARY OF THE ANSWERS you may recieve here .. especially those who may offer you a place to stay ......

tentofield ... you don't have Email or message access .. .I wouldn't mind discussing with you what your answer said, anyway I can ?
hey helen :) Guess I am a little too wary .. but these freaks are so devious ... I just get scared for the kids.:)

I think you'll need to be more specific about your location. Melbourne is a huge city. No point thinking about places to go in Sunbury, if you live in Pakenham, you know? Are you in the northern or southern suburbs? Have you got friends you can stay with, or are you going to sleep under a bridge? Without more planning, it's sort of hard to answer this question...

At 15 if you run away you will be caught and either sent home or put into a foster home. At 16 you can leave home legally without parental permission.
