If you want it to stop working, charcoal lighter fuel will do it (too thick and hard to get to burn). ~

Zippos will run on just about anything, but I would not advise You to try Charcoal Lighter Fluid. "Zippo" is still the best fluid for Your lighter. Best bet is to contact the factory and double check. They do have a web site.

You probably could, but why would you want to? I would think that charcoal lighter fluid wouldn't be that good for you to inhale. I'm guessing it's best to use the regular Butane fluid that Zippo's were meant to use.
