The Hebrews built the pyramids. The curse of the pharaohs is from microbes that have been latent in the tombs forever, until they were excavated and the bacteria was activated by all the oxygen. Well, my explanation anyway...

1) Egyptians built the pyramids, of course. Construction workers homes have been discovered, with evidence that at least some (many) of the workers were not slaves. They cannot exclude the use of slaves, of course. The pyramids were built long before the early Hebrews relocated to Egypt (Moses lived about 1400 B.C.E., Joseph about 1800 B.C.E.).

Personally, I favor the lever/crane theory, which proposes that several hundred lever-powered cranes were in operation around the pyramid at the same time, and that these were used to raise hundreds of blocks (a single level) at a time. (Couldn't find a good web ref.)

The "internal ramp" theory is also interesting.

Here's a good site: http://www.world-mysteries.com/mpl_2_1.htm

Interesting (reasonable) theory about casting all the stones: http://www.ancient-wisdom.co.uk/constructiontechniques.htm

I think the last one needs more research, but it sure would explain things!

2) Curse of the pharoahs? What curse? It's difficult to explain something that is the figment of someone's imagination.
