This question also applies to renters I want to rent apartments to...Why should I have to answer to anyone? For godsakes, I do not owe anything to anyone aside from the people that I rent to....."I don't like your shoes" would be a suitable answer to people I deny...What the hell gives the State the authority to say what/who I employ for whatever reason?

Ron Paul will get my vote, my question is why the State has the authority to question my actions.

You can rent to or hire anybody you want. You just can't not hire somebody because of race, age, sex

Well... as long as you don't discriminate by race, gender, or physical disability, the state really has no right to dictate who you rent to. If you feel like the person is able to pay every month, that should be enough. And you should hire the person who is most qualified.

However, you should be heavily penalized if you knowingly rent to or employ illegal immigrants.

Just my opinion.

You seem to be touching on several laws, including the Equal Employment Act and the Fair Housing Act. Possibly also the Americans With Disabilities Act.

So, tell us what the state is trying to make you do. We all need a laugh.

I agree, the only way you can change the system is to help elect Ron Paul. Check him out on YouTube. He is for non government intervention and he is pro-Constitution.

they can't tell you who to hire or rent to but they discourage you from saying- i won't rent to redheads or midgets.
Just what is your problem? Has the perfect employee come along but they are a color or religion you don't like. Just hire who qualifies . and rent to people who have good references.
