If gays know that homosexuality is wrong, then why do they still engage in it?

There have been people that has turned from this wickedness, so why can't they all? God intended for a man to be with a woman, otherwise he would have made two men or two women. There are doctors to help with this sickness. Stop using the God made me like this excuse. The Bible clearly states homosexuality is wrong. It is perversion. Just ask for forgiveness.

One thing that isn't contradictory in the bible is to 'love'. And according to the bible which you are judging me from. You, of all people should know that only God can judge man, and to hate is a 'sin'. No sin, according to the bible which you are preaching is greater then the other. The bible says they've become inflamed in their lusts toward one another. They could care less about God or what his word says. The ones who do show some concern only want to hear the part in the bible about God loving everyone and desiring all to attain to repentance, but they ignore the part about applying his principles and guidelines in their lives, particularly the ones forbidding homosexual acts, in order to attain to repentance! They are living a fantasy that they can have their homosexual lifestyle and God's approval, too!
Just for the record, orange_crush_0, adulterers are mentioned right alongside of homosexuals in the bible and no one is condoning adultery any more than they're condoning homosexuality. The difference between the two is that adulterers usually try to keep their adultery hidden and don't have parades celebrating what they've done, etc... It's usually much easier to spot a homosexual than an adulterer, don't you think? Also, what does the hetero divorce rate have to do with anything? If gays were allowed to marry, I'd be willing to wager that the divorce rate would be just as high or higher, but then there's no statistical proof avalible, is there?!

The bible does not clearly state that homosexuality is wrong. That is a blatant lie, which is clearly stated in the bible to be a no no. You can interpret the passages that are supposedly against homosexuality in several very different ways. For you to say it clearly states one thing is very misleading. Shame on you for lying about the bible. Furthermore, he did make two men and two women. Actually, he made about 3,000,000,000 men and 3,000,000,000 women. That is going by the premise that there is a pretty equal ration of men to women (which may not be true, thanks to some rather interesting tenets in your bible that really, really devalue women, and therefore make them VERY easy to dispose of in some countries). Anyway, gays don't know homosexuality is wrong. You seem to think it is, and that's great, but just because you think it doesn't make it true mi amigo. Just so you know, God did make me this way. Unless you're denying he created me, which has to be a blasphemy of some sort. Oh, one more thing. It is also a lie to say there are doctors to help with this sickness. I agree with those that said that you should be on R&S. Seriously, people are actually saying that no where in the Bible does it condemn homosexuality. Try these verses: Romans 1:24-27; 1 Timothy 1:9-11; Jude 7; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11...just a few scriptures there.
There are those who have, because of their love of God, resisted the temptation. But we are in Satan's system of things right now.
And for the answer that said that Adam and Eve only had 2 sons: read your Bible. They had sons and daughters. Genesis 4:1 tells us that she gave birth to Cain. Verse 2 tells us she gave birth to Abel. Verse 25 tells us she gave birth to Seth. Genesis 5:4 tells us that during Adams lifetime, he became father to sons and daughters. (Just because it doesn't mention all of his children by name, does not mean that they did not exist. It tells us that he had daughters.)

if the roles were reversed, and the bible (allegedly) stated that heterosexuality was wrong (ignoring breeding issues for the moment), and the large majority of the world was homosexual. would you still 'engage' in heterosexuality?

I am a Cristian. I believe in God. I am not gay or Bi or transex. In the bible it dose say that homosexually is wrong. Im not taking any sides. But i do believe this. God says that every sin is equal( that means White lie = Murder.) If God says being gay is a sin then it is the same as murder. God also said that there is no other god except him. But people have many different religions and dose that stop him. But God said that the only reason that you could go to hell is that if you don't believe him. So why is there a worry? If they believe in God then why do they have to worry that they have to go to hell.

First of all, its not wrong. It may be wrong for you, because you read the bible obviously. I dont. Im a proud jewish woman, and nowhere in the jewish religion am i in the wrong. I believe in god, and I thank him everyday for making me this way.
