And nothing else,

Would you be offended, or would you enjoy it as much as I would?

I would possibly enjoy it more than you. And I wouldn't leave until you gave me your secret recipe for pork seasoning.

I don't think I would be offended. I think I would definitely tease you, though, and ask if you have an aversion to vegetables and side dishes!

If you're considering inviting someone over and you only WANT to make chops & bacon, why don't you let them know "I tend to only eat proteins for dinner ... if you'd like a side, why don't you bring something that goes with chops?"

I did go to a dinner once where a couple invited six other couples ... and served chicken noodle soup. While it was pretty good soup .... soup is not a good conversational dinner ... and not very substantial for people who generally don't eat between noon and dinner meals!

I'd enjoy it.....if you had ketchup or syrup. Ketchup for the porkchops and syrup for the bacon. Or if you only had one I could make it both for both.

I might not be "offended," but I'd be surprised. Where's the small salad/veggie and roll? Keep in mind not everybody is a hard-core carnivore like you may be.

If you invited me to dinner and I knew that you took the time to do something nice for me.. It would not matter what you fixed !! People need to learn to appreciate what others do for them.. If what you cooked was not good enough. bump his or her ungrateful butt !!!

I would love the bacon, but I would ask where the eggs were.

Sounds good to me. Why don't you come over tomorrow night and I'll make sausage and ribs?
