Is it any worse than many Republicans who think Saddam Hussein had something to do with 9/11?

Joe M, do get it straight. The majority of Americans are not as dumb as you - goes to show what you are from your question! They know that Libby was convicted for making a joke out of the Bible and America's judicial system. He LIED UNDER OATH! And Bush wants to tell the American Public that favored citizens have a right to lie under oath and to treat taking oaths as a darn joke if you have the elitists on their sde? OMG, what kind of country have the NeoCons turned America into? A godless nation where elitists and NeoCons can play gods????

Clinton lied to cover up his sexual needs. Libby lied to hurt this nation and cover up those who are destroying this nation and its integrity!

I know that he did not out the C.I.A. agent

That isn't even what he was convicted of. He was convicted of lying and impeding an investigation.

By the way, I didn't realize that there were separate schools for the separate parties or were the conservatives reading impeded too.

Don't lump everyone in together. We are not all the same.

I believe it is easier for them to believe Libby did it because he was attached to both Rove and Cheney and as we all know, they are the two boogymen of the Whitehouse. And yes, public school is to blame. But I personally blame Global Warming.

Scooter was convicted of perjury and impeding a federal investigation..and if you are involved in "covering up a crime" then you are guilty of said crime even if you did not partake in said crime directly! and is considered High treason in this country...why do you want to protect someone that has personal agendas and ignores national security to pettily settle an disagreement? High treason is a hanging crime...i want to see someone kick and growl for this...because i am a veteran and a patriot...not a sheep!

libby was convicted of lying under oath and obstructing justice, thereby making it impossible to get at the underlying crime that was commited.

i think it might be you who have the problem with reading comprehension, but then again you won't ever read this will you...

Libby was convicted of lying under oath. Did I miss something?

It was Cheney that decided to out the CIA employee...whether she was an operative, or lives were put at risk because of this disclosure, we may never know.

He wasn't, he was convicted of the same thing Clinton was impeached for.

So seeing you think what Libby did was ok, I guess you must think the same thing for Clinton....or are you a flip flopping Repug?

BTW - Answer me this.....did Saddam have ANYTHING to do with 9/11?

LOL

They don't. It's the conservatives who reference Plame whenever defending Libby, giving the impression that he was convicted for outing her.

Sounds better and we all know just how much the Libs love the CIA

Because there are a lot of lemmings our there and the democratic machine, including the MSN have been spouting this for a long time.

Fact, Armitage was the leak. Not Libby. The prosecutor, Novak AND Armitage ALL agree with this.

Fact. Leaking Valerie Plames name was NOT a crime. she was NOT a secret agent and had not been one for over 5 years. (The time of which you need to exceed for it not to be a crime.)
