You can if you own it. All items like that must have a tag attached by law before purchase so you know the materials used. Much like ingredients on a can or the tag on a teddy bear. You have to know what things are made of.

The tags are put there by the manufacturer so the consumer can read important information about the mattress....fiber content, care, where it was made, etc. It is illegal for the manufacturer or retailer to remove the tags.

The consumer can, however, once the mattress has been purchased.

You can, as the purchaser and owner. The warning is on there for the seller. It's to protect the consumer, so that they know what the mattress is made of and, usually, that it's flammable. I believe the tag says all this, though it's in fine print.

Cut it off if you'd like.

Repeat of the same question asked not too long ago. The tag is on there for store purposes only. It does NOT pertain to the purchaser. So go ahead....rip away!

I think you can take it off after you buy it, but only if you're the legal owner.

You can if you are the legal owner. You arent supposed to if you are not...mostly because i think the way they are displayed at stores though.
