I have tried mashed purple potatoes. If you like potatoes, you'll like them. They're really good ... the ones I had were actually better than white potatoes, but that might've been the restaurant, not the purpleness. And the purple is fun.

yes I would eat them and they make the prettiest mashed potatoes but I think they are on there cause harvesting anything is dirty cause your in the dirt potatoes are perfectly fine lol try them some times they also serve them at top notch restaurants

Do you mean red potatoes? They look purple....they are really quite tasty. It is all I buy. They are more tender than a yellow or white potato as well. Try them!

I am watching it too, I have never heard of purple potatoes, but I think I would try them. Why not, live on the edge. :)

I would. I`ve had them in potato chip form and the are delicious...they taste the same as white potatoes

I had one before their like sweet potatoes and I don't like sweet potatoes so I didn't like them. And I like potatoes.

never saw that episode or those potatoes but i do sooooo love that show...and don't envy some of those jobs...i saw one tonight where he was catching small alligators and having to stick his finger in their butts to tell what sex they were...funny stuff...

the only difference is the color the taste is the same. I would, remember when hance ketchup brought out different color ketchups, it was the same taste different color and people still bought them
