I always USED to say that there is no such thing as a stupid question. Then, I met some of the cons on YA!.

Let me tell you something about this Liberal: I do not want to see any more deaths in Iraq due to the US military presence! Every death, Iraqi and American, is a loss for our world and our humanity! I will shout for joy when there are no more civilian casualties!

What DOES make me angry is people thinking that a Liberal does not support troops, that a Liberal would be happy to see anyone die, that Liberals are cowards!!!!

Dubya is the very definition of "wrong side of history".in ANY year!

Joe, lives were still lost in Iraq, even though civilian casualties were down...The number of soldier casualties were up. All lives are equal to most...except the current administration.

We've never been on the wrong side of history, we're happy the civilian casualties are down, and not too thrilled that the enemy is now focusing on killing U.S. troops instead. Are you happy with the 'surge' in G.I. deaths?

Think that the Iraqi Government and our Government do actual body counts? Everyone in Iraq is in panic to save his/her own skin? Doubt anyone would be picking up bits and pieces of dead bodies to piece them ALL together for genuine count! The dead would be lucky if their bodies are being scopped up for mass burial instead of being left in the sewage to rot!

Shame on you for suggesting that. The Dems are trying to bring the boys home. It's the Republicans that want to escalate the war and keep our heroes in harm's way.

Your not a very patriotic man.

No, but probably not to happy that 100 American soldiers were killed during June. Of course, you will probably want to tell me what a drop in the bucket that is compared to other wars. Please save that for the parents of the brave men and women.

maybe the troops are being allowed to be proactive. if the troops keep the insurgents/terrorists busy, fewer civilians will be killed.
