One quarterback, One Fullback, and Two Halfbacks. Usually the Fullback will line up two yards directly behind the quarterback. The running backs will split equal parts, usually a 1x1(one yard back and one yard away) from fullback. Most traditional teams will have all 3 backs go in a three point stance, however some have the running backs in a two point stance. Plays that work the best from this formation are Power off tackle, Power Sweep, FB dive. Usually not used in passing game because it takes a lot of time for the backs to get out.

that would be three. if your smart stay away from it. if you want a good O, go with the single wing. very hard to defend. it's a lot of confusion.
