Jupiter is the biggest planet in our Solar System but it is made up entirely of hydrogen gas. With that said, is Jupiter heavier than Earth?

By the way, Jupiter can swallow all of the planets in our Solar System (including exiled Pluto) with room to spare.

Nope. Jupiter has WAY more mass than the earth and mass=weight. It doesn't matter that the mass is all gas... theres so much of it that it outweighs the earth by a massive amount.

Furthermore, scientists speculate that jupiter has a massive solid core of carbon. Some even think that core under that much pressure might be a planet-sized diamond.

Jupiter is not entirely made out of hydrogen. It's the largest and also the most massive planet in the solar system.

Balony balony balonyyyy
Einsteinian Scientists are wrong, due to their fallible theories of relativity and gravity, when in reality it is Halton Arp's plasma theory that explains the forces in our universe. Einstein scientists also have imaginary fantasies about dark matter to make up for this missing mass.

Everything is speculation, however, I believe it is very plausible that Jupiter is lighter than earth, and they will never detect its core. You can construct your own helium balloon with a tiny rock (core) and a tiny balloon with a larger rock core. One looks way bigger, but Which do you think will be heavier?

The gas giants are simply extinct suns or brown / red dwarfs, hence their makeup of H And He gases.

To answer your question and to clear up some confusion, if you found a big enough scale to put the earth and jupiter on, you would see that jupiter would out weigh it by a lot! This is because it's more massive. And anything that has more mass will always weigh more.

Jupiter is equivalent to twice all the other planets combined or approximately 318 times the size of Earth ,weighing 1.900e27, it is the heaviest planet.

So,Jupiter is obviously heavier than our planet Earth.

Jupiter is heavier than Earth - it has the mass of 317.8 earths.

You have to realise - despite being mostly gas, Jupiter is massive compared to Earth - all that hydrogen gas mass adds up!

Jupiter's mass is about 1.8986×10^27 KG or 4.1843×10^27 LBS which is approximately 317.8 Earths.

"The mass of Jupiter has been calculated to be 1.9 * 1027 kg which is 318 times greater than the mass of Earth."

so yes jupiter is heavier!

Jupiter is obviously far more massive that Earth.
It's actually only a little short of being a sun.
