Couple of tips:
Drop your elbow...if you dont already do this, it is very effective...our coach told us to do this and i have gotten much better by doing this....its because your gonna have to drop your elbow when trying to hit the ball, so just keep it down...it increases reaction time. Also consider getting a swing sock or a donut something to weight up the bat....Then just swing the hell out of it.....dont take the swing sock or donut off unless its a game and you will become more powerful and bat speed will increase. Plus, don't go up there looking to hit a homerun everytime...just go up there looking to make contact and homeruns come naturally. Finally try switching bats if you are not having success...sometimes its the length of the bat or the weight that makes a differnce. But most of all just get in the batting cage and hitting, repetition makes you better. Hope this helps.

Well its hard to tell you stuff that can make you a better hitter without seeing you hit because you could have some mechanical flaws with your hitting. Just take more cuts. Soft toss, hit off a tee, take BP both from a machine and a live arm.

practice with higher and higher speeds of pitches, either find someone that can throw hard and accurate or find the best kinds of batting practice machines. don't swing at every pitch, make sure you can see the ball as it comes. Swing with your hips, not just your arms at full speed, relax before you step up to the plate, i heard meditation-type exercises help with your brain's conception of ballspeed, but it also could be superstition, either way, it couldn't hurt you.

make sure you always pivot and put your body into your swing.......eye contact is very important but the best thing you can do is go to the batting cage.....they have all speeds for you to try........I love it and get better at my hitting each time I go...good luck! ;)
