Some people on here claim that they only fart about once every two days or so. This must mean that only some foods produce gas when digested. So, if a person completely avoided these foods and burped up all the air they swallowed, couldn't they avoid farting. I've hear that everyone does it so many times, but couldn't it be avoided with the above. This is a serious question!

It seems that 75% of us on western diet suffer from bowel dysbiosis which causes many conditions with at the center the formation of gas. check out the websites below. The condition is a serious one and it´s good you are serious about finding answers.

Everyone with a functioning digestive system 'farts' [ passes gas ].
The people who say they only fart every two days or so -
1] they lie, or
2] they aren't paying attention
3] they have no tone in their a*****e.
No, it's not possible - ask a gastric surgeon, if you don't believe me.

Dr. Oz was on Oprah and he gave great medical advice regarding gas:



Dr. Oz says that the average person passes gas 14 times a day—and less than one percent of it actually smells.

I got this directly off of the Oprah website (look through it all; it's all very fascinating learning about the human body)! : )
