Israeli people will survive.
Corrupt Israeli officials such as Ehud "Judas" Olmert and generals will not. They and their mishpuchas feed on American aid.

Israel wont survive israel maybe powerful but not enough to provoke a war against a powerful iran and a nuclear capable pakistan fueled by oil rich saudi

Israel is reconsidering accepting U.S. aid. We give them several billion and loan them several billion. They don't need it, since they're obligated to spend much of it on U.S. military equipment. Then the Arab countries also buy U.S. military equipment, causing Israel to rethink the 'brilliance' of this mini arms race. The idea that Israel is on the front line of terror is obviously ridiculous. It isn't Israel with military bases all over the Middle East, or occupying Iraq and slaughtering 100,000 civilians there without justification. They've never experienced anything close to 9/11. There are religious reasons why terrorists don't bother Israel. But they'll blame us for fighting Israel's battles for them.

Well, if I understand my Sunday school right, isn't that the point at which Israel would be all alone which would bring about the return of Jesus? I might be wrong, but I remember reading about how Israel will have no allies but they will still be saved via various miracles.

No, they couldn't. They would be left to the extremist Palestinians, and other terrorists, alone, and unprotected. Israel is Americas only true ally in the Middle east, and if we fail them, we fail ourselves. There are too many people (Arabs) who would rather all Jews, and Americans die, than those who want free societies to flourish. If we were to give up on Israel, taking our support of them away, the stronger makes the terrorists, and the more powerful the terrorist becomes. No nation in the middle east has stood by America more than Israel. I consider them friends, and if it came down to a war with Iran, for example, Israel would be right there with us, perhaps even more than England. Bless the Israeli's.

Israel is estiamted to have around 300 operational nuclear weapons. Thus the question becomes, if the US cut aid to israel, would anyone in the middle east survive?
BTW Israels nuclear arsenal is supposed to be larger than Frances. France has openly stated that a nuclear responce to a large scale terrorist attack is part of thier policy. Do you really believe the israeli's would do less?

They curb-stomped Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria at the same time. It only took them a week to end that war. They won't confirm it, but it's pretty much accepted that they have well over 100 nuclear weapons. I think they'll survive. All we can be sure of, is that if they ever are dislodged, there won't be anyone left in the region to celebrate the victory.

Very doubtful and we lose a very valuable ally. we need Israel because when the big war comes we need Israel for bases.
