Kobe gave us a glimpse of what he can do, 81 pts vs raptors and 60+ in 3qtrs vs mavs. and if there's no improvement in the lakers line-up this season, expect kobe to play with no gusto and just play the whole season by himself thus having a a great chance of breaking or at least, duplicating wilt's 100 points.

No that record will stand for eternity because there are many good players now and no one can dominate quite like Wilt could. Wilt was a one of a kind player back in the day, but now the league is full of talent.

No one can ever break that record,
if so, MJ would have done that before,
Wilt Chamberlain is a center and when he do
that 100pt record he also has 50 rebounds
can you imagine that? As if the other team
has no center to defend Wilt. that
100pts and 50rebounds in one night will be forever
be in the record hall.

No, There competition is too close. The modern defenses are just too good to allow that. No player is dominant like Wilt was and we can only stretch physical limits so far. I think that record is just about set in stone.

the difficulty is, while wilt scored one hundred factors in that element, there have been no longer nba gamers as stable because of the fact the gamers now. So, Kobe's 80 you could still already have been almost impossible, no longer to point a hundred and one!

Not any time soon. I think Kobe will come the closest to ever breaking it. LeBron MIGHT in 5-10 years, but he better develop a killer instinct and work on his free throws

I'm going with no!

Most teams can't even score 100 pts anymore!

The league is all about "ugly" defense, that is why teams like Phoenix and Dallas are so popular! They score making it entertaining for fans to watch in person and on TV.

I don't think anyone will be able to for a long long long time, his record is like too high, and no one now is that good

No modern coach would allow his player do that. It would definitely ruin team chemistry as modern coaches preaches better team offense which IS a whole lot difficult to defend than a player who everybody would defend because they knew he is going to score. So to answer your question directly: "NO".
