The easy answer is the hair.
As a Red Sox I realize I can't talk looking at Manny's but please!
Another reason is the guy is darn good and he cause (insert favortie team here) to lose!

I don't like his hair. lol, as an avid Indians fan I wouldn't want to have to stare at that hair every day. Plus, we already have a bunch of very good outfielders who are much younger and much less expensive... I don't think having Magglio would be necessary at all for Cleveland. But mostly, the hair.

The funny thing is, 2 weeks ago you probably had never even heard of Ben Francisco (I know I hadn't). As long as we keep beating them, I LOVE Magglio....

I don't dislike him. He's a very good player, when healthy. He had all those health problems in Chicago and Detroit took a gamble on him. So far it's paid off. Not shabby defensivley either.

Now, that's a pretty stupid reason not to like him, but I can see where some people would think it's enough.
I like him just fine. Loved that ALCS-winning woHR last October.

Many people may not like him, but you can't say he's a bad player. His batting average is scary good, plus with a ton of RBI and solid amount of HR, you can't say he's not having a great year.
