When it comes to 4th of July, a lot of people on my block blow off fireworks. The loud boom/noice really scares me. I close all the windows and try to go to the room where you can't hear them, but I still hear the BOOM!!! They remind me of bombs and of course those scare me. I am scared that they will catch something on fire!Any advice on how I can get over my fear? Or how to not hear the fireworks/firecrackers?

Deliberately expose yourself to it. Go outside, see a few fireworks shows. Eventually, the shock will wear off (it worked for my son).
