I am from St. Louis, Missouri and am a fan of local music. Does anyone know a list of all the musicians that came out of St. Louis and became popular? (not necessarily just rappers, but all music types)

Famous musicians: Chuck Berry, Tina Turner, Miles Davis, Albert King, David Sanborn, Michael McDonald (The Doobie Brothers) were from St. Louis. Missouri, native Sheryl Crowe taught school in St. Louis. Scott Joplin moved to St. Louis. While living there - 1900 to 1903, he composed "The Entertainer," "Elite Syncopations," "March Majestic,"and "Ragtime Dance".
