We separated for about 2+ years before we finalized it. now that its final and my ex and I both have other relationships he wants to hang out and calls me a few times a week. We have no children and didnt talk the whole time we were separtated with a few exceptions. Why all of a sudden is he wanting to be buddy buddy? I like him as a person but am confused...

Maybe it's that old "you dont know what you've got until it's gone" type thing. But honestly, you guys didnt work for a reason. Maybe you should talk to him and ask him what his intentions are. Then you can explain what it is you want him to do, whether it is to leave you alone or to realize that you guys are over and maybe you guys can just be friends. I would think it would be hard to be friends with an ex-husband especially when the two of you have seperate relationships now and you havent really been in contact for so long.

have you ever heard the phrase you don't realize what you had until it's gone? well maybe that's what he's feeling now that the divorce is a reality or maybe he liked your relationship better before you 2 were married without the commitment and he wants to rekindle that

He wants you back. He would never admit it. You never want a drink until the water runs dry.
