volume of a cylinder is given by V = πr^2 * h

where
r is the radius of the cylinder's circular base ==> 6.3mm
h is the height of the cylinder ==> 11.8mm

applying these values to the formula you get

V= π x 6.3^2 X 11.8 = 1471.34 mm^3

Volume is figured by first calculating the area of an end.
The area calc is pi x radius squared. This would mean 6.3x6.3=39.69 and 39.69 x pi (3.1415) = 124.69 sq mm
Then to find volume you simply multiply the area times the height. 124.69 x 11.8 = 1471.342 cubic mm.

Using the eq for the area of a circle. you can find the area of one end. A = pi*r^2, A = 3.14 * 6.3^2 = 124.63mm sq
Now multiply by the height to get the volume.
124.63 * 11.8mm = 1470.6mm^3

In a nutshell the eq is V = pi * r^2 * h

V=π*r²h
V=π*6.3²*11.8
V=1471mm³

V = π r² h
V = π x 6.3² x 11.8 mm³
V = 1471.3 mm³

area x height
area= 6.3 x 6.3 x 3.14=124.6266
height= 11.8
volume=124.6266 x 11.8=1470.59388
round it up would be 1470.59mm
