On thier site it says An Actor must be older than 18 years of age. I was wondering if they have to be 18 how can I get in because like Dylan & Cole Spourse, Miley Cyrus are all actors for Disney and are the same age as me ,14,. How can I get in to become a Disney Channel Actor? I think they say 18+ also for auditions. How can you become an actor on Disney Channel?
Hi there,
The first thing that comes to mind after reading your question is, "Are you ready to audition for Disney?". The reason I ask is because there I have entertained an onslaught of questions recently by folks asking the same question. It seems that Disney is the place everyone wants to be.
Having said that, you know that the people already acting on Disney Channel are trained professionals. Are you? If so, then I have a suggestion for you. There are many actors who are very, very good, but don't get seen and don't get a chance to audition for the casting directors they really want to audition for, because they don't have the business skills they need to be successful. And so, their talent goes unnoticed. What a shame. Really. I have a friend who was like that for a long time and now she is beginning to come around.
Your number one priority should be getting some good, solid acting training. It's not just about being the right type, it's also, and more importantly about your acting skill. But make sure you have an opinion about what you are looking for in a school and in a teacher. Click here to see what some of your criteria could be.

Getting an agent is only part of the deal and even if you get one, it doesn't mean that he'll send you out for all the auditions you want.
I say this to let you know that before you get close to Disney, you will have a lot of work to do and a lot of base to build. That is unless you are a natural born, exceptional talent. Then maybe not.
So in summary, it is possible to get to Disney. It is. But you will have to position yourself for success. To do that you need to get started quickly and with purpose!

Those actors have been performing for many years, some were on the Mickey Mouse Club with Britney Spears and other Disney performers. Dylan, Cole and Miley have been performing since they were young.
Miley Cyrus has a famous father, it was easy for her to get a TV show.

i dont think those are the same kind of auditions that you want. the auditions on the website are for jobs at the disney PARKS, not their tv shows. they only way you can find out about the shows is to get an agent or a manager.

They have agents and a history of experience and probably started when they were infants which is no way to have a childhood. You need to have an agent who specializes in children's television that can book you the audition.

Well it just depends on witch park or roll or movie or show you want to be in. Just wait till there are auditions for you age and go for it. good luck. i hope you become a actor.

they have agents. they get called in for callbacks to audition for something. it depends i don;t really think you can pick where u wanna act.
