Walking everywhere.
Getting called in for dinner, via mom's mouth, not a cell,or not at all!!!
Playing ball, riding bike for hours on end.
Roller skating on 4 wheels, not lined up.
Playing outside with my dogs for hours.
Thinking McD's was a TREAT!

Did the dishes since grade school.
Stayed in the car while mom grocery shopped.
Watched tv with mom and dad.
Visited cousins as a family.
Went on Sunday drives.
Worked or earned any money we got.
Shared clothes.
Ate what was cooked without question.

We used to collect pop bottles and sale them at the local grocery store. We'd then take the money and go to the Saturday $1 movies.

In the summer we played outside from morning til the street lights came on.
We didn't want to come in for water or even to go to the bathroom because you were afraid your mother would tell you to stay in.

I'm only 29... but I remember when I was a kid, we would go OUTSIDE and play... all day sometimes!!
You never see that anymore.
