We are not ready for a black president, we are not ready for a white president or a woman president. We are ready for a great president!!!
If your house was burning down, who would you want to put it out? A woman firefighter? A Black Firefighter? A White Firefighter? or the best qualified firefighter? Look at it in those terms.

Let's put aside all merit, platforms, and even the conisderation of who would make a better leader for this country. The cold truth is that the South and Midwest has a significant portion of the population which either blantantly, or subconsciously will not vote for either a women, or a black. Either would be lucky to carry up to 2 states total in those regions. Aside from a miracle, I don't think either will win enough electoral votes.

law actually states that the president must be a man of at least 35 years old that is married. doesn't say anything about race though. true republicans will never allow a black or non-white president though.

No we are not ready for a woman or a black president--it would split our country apart and we are under enough pressure now with the war etc. Women are not strong enough to withstand the pressures of war and being president should be a man's job.

no longer Condoleezza! fairly with todays attitudes her existence could be endanger if she grow to be elected, which she will have the means to no longer be. The GOP is going down, and the Dems likly have a winner this next election,perhaps Hillary? i'm hoping no longer as hse already ran the rustic for 8 years

I've noticed that the people most concerned about race and power are none other than the whites. Y is that? Maybe because america is predominantly white huh.......Its unfortunate
