Some newer laptops have HD screens and I want to know if there is really much of a difference on the small screens

Unless you are one of those people who must have the newest of everything, it definately should not be a major concern with you. They do look really good but not to the point were I would hate my regular laptop screen.

Agree with Antonio on the Wow factor here, but as of now, to me they are more troublesome than they worth even if they are for bigger desktops, since we are still squarely entrenched in the Standard Definition side of the transition from SD to HD.
