Batman - How many canes were made for Jim Carrey?

Warner Brother's Studio made a number of canes for Jim Carrey to use in Batman. How many were made and what happened to them?

Apparently, Carrey broke a dozen prop canes as he learned to twirl them around....no word on how many total were created for the movie.

None of the sources say anywhere what happened to all the ones that were left over (but you can imagine they were either picked up by collectors).
