I am afraid to put my head under, never learned how to swim because of my fear.

About the same as not underwater.
Want to increase the time? Jump in the deep end with weights chained to your ankles.

I'm not sure, but I wanted to see how long my mother-in-law could hold her breath underwater. Three days later, she's still going strong at the bottom of the pond in the woods behind my house.

umm.. i can only for a measly 40 seconds. I practised a lot during the summer because i was diving a lot and swimming. At the end of the summer that increased to 1:30. More practise the better you'll get, and that goes towards anything.

A very scary pastime! I won't snorkel in water over twenty five feet anymore.Florida now has white sharks too! Found a six sided brass nail in 3 feet of water after a hurricane. It shined in the light and at first I thought it was gold! It is from an old ship I guess.
