i think my web cam is whats causing my comp to crash if it is what should i do ?

yahoo knoledge base said it was a device driver installed on my comp

Well to find out, disconnect the web cam! If your problem goes away you know your camera is causing the issue.

Once you know that check the MFG's site (of the web cam) for updated drivers.
